About Dr Candice

Dr Candice Quinn has worked as a psychologist in the public and private healthcare sector for over 18 years. Her training has included a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Laws, from Southern Cross University. Dr Candice chose Southern Cross University due to it's mission to advance globally relevant socially responsible practices from regional locations. Located in Northern NSW and South East QLD, Australia the teaching focus promotes sustainable business practices, which align with Dr Candice's personal values.

Dr Candice has also completed a Masters of Science in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology)  and a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney, focusing on the neurobiology of Clinical Depression. Her interest in epidemiology stemmed from her curiosity for global health care and the research behind decision making. The pursuit of her PhD allowed her to become an expert in her field, by completing her thesis with all 6 research projects being published in internationally peer reviewed medical journals. Dr Candice chose the University of Sydney for her studies, as it is consistently placed among the world's leading institutions for making a positive impact on society.

Dr Candice is a specialist experienced in resilience and recovery with the insights into why psychological interventions need to be client-driven and personalised. She completed the Masters in Organisational Psychology program at Macquarie University, Sydney, NSW, Australia to extend her understanding of the environmental influences on work and wellbeing. Dr Candice chose Macquarie University for her studies due to it's reputation for unleashing the entrepreneurial spirit and Macquarie University's focus on applied and practical teaching methods. Dr Candice is passionate about building people and organisations to be the best that they can be.
